March against gender based violence

gender based violence anywhere, is a threat to peace everywhere

We took to the streets of the INK Region which is made up of the townships of Inanda, Ntuzuma, and KwaMashu (INK) in the City of Durban. We set out to lend our voices to the fight against the epidemic of gender based violence. We boldly declared that GBV will not be tolerated in our times.

A special thanks to our male volunteers who participated in the march and stood in solidarity with women of Sinethemba Women's Foundation. We cannot end GBV without dismantling patriarchy.
